Gelaran tahunan World Class Street Fashion Carnival oleh Jember Fashion Carnaval yang tahun ini memasuki tahun ke-15 kembali digelar di Jember - Kota karnaval fashion dunia. Dengan mengusung tema besar R E V I V A L yang berisi 10 tema unik dan bebeda dengan tema-tema tahun sebelumnya, antara lain GARUDA, REFUGEES, OLYMPIC, HORTUS, CHANDELIER, WOODS, OCEAN, TECHNOCYBER, PARADISAEA dan BARONG.
WOLD CLASS FASHION CARNIVAL digelar di kota Jember - Jawa Timur, pada 4 hari gelaran. Pada tanggal 25 - 28 Agustus 2016.

1. KIDS CARNIVAL, 25 Agustus 2016 - Diperagakan oleh anak-anak dengan Costum Carnival, 
2. ARTWEAR CARNIVAL, 26 Agustus 2016 - Special performing art FALL WINTER yang akan diperagakan oleh model. 
3. WONDERFUL ARTCHIPELAGO CARNIVAL INDONESIA (WACI), 27 Agustus 2016 - Special performing art keindahan budaya Nasional Indonesia yang dikemas dalam bentuk karnaval dan akan diperagakan oleh perwakilan propinsi di Indonesia. 
4. GRAND CARNIVAL, 28 Agustus 2016 - JFC-15 REVIVAL SHOW TIME merupakan acara puncak JFC INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION. STREET FASHION dengan catwalk sepanjang Jl. Sudarman (start), Jl. Sultan Agung, Jl. Gajah Mada , GEDUNG SERBAGUNA (finish). 

Jember  will be a city better known by the world. In his speech Jember Regent MZA Djalal said, Jember has become the center of world attention and later 26-31 August will flock tourists to jember let us welcome our guests with a smile hospitality.

In order to commemorate the anniversary of the Independence 70th RI, Jember District Government held a themed activities "Jember To The World" and held starting on July 25, 2015 until August 31, 2015. The following schedule of activities Jember For the World 2015:

Unlike JFC, Jember City Carnival stresses more on the cultural richness of Jember. Jemberese culture is called Pedalungan culture, which is a mixture of Javanese and Madurese cultures. The language here is also unique, Javanese language with Madurese accent. The Chinese ethnic, as a minority, also holds a great part in the real sector. The lion dance and Liang-Liong is one of the attractions that citizens are always waiting for.
Costume is always the key aspect in every fashion carnival, the same goes for JFC. The models and designers must be able to express the theme through their clothing. The costume materials are not necessarily expensive, and can be taken from things around us.

International & National Sport Events
Super cross, off road, hang gliding, and volleyball- define these four for speed, challenge, and courage. These four sports are
also included as a part of the Bulan Berkunjung ke Jember / Visit Jember Month main agenda. While super cross and hang
gliding are joined by international participants, off-roading and volleyball are joined by national ones. All is for the pride and Jember’s better tomorrow.

On an August Sunday, hundreds of people are racing to climb 200 betel nut trees; this competition is widely known as Panjat Pinang.
Tree-trunks, as high as 8 meters, are skinned and moistened with engine lubricant oil. Whereas it’s not easy to climb the slimy and slippery trees, the prizes provided on top of the trees are quite tempting: bicycles, clocks, radios, and mobile phones.

The cheers and festive mood changes the idyllic farm city into a carnival paradise every August. Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) & Jember City Carnival (JCC). JFC, started by Mr. Dynand Fariz in 2001, isone of the biggest fashion showcases in the world. At least 450 ordinary citizens from various ages, dressed in costume made of

recycled fabric, walk a 3.6 kilometers street catwalk. Mr. Dynand Fariz claimed that JFC is a fashion show with the longest catwalk in the world. With hundreds of thousands of audience, this claim is not far-fetched. JFC has

also been brought to England, Mumbai and Shanghai.
